Raquel Ortiz Vice President, Strategic Alliances

As Vice President of Strategic Alliances, Raquel oversees all stakeholder relations and serves as a client liaison to Hispanic, consumer and low-income advocacy organizations. In this role, Raquel provides strategic alliance consulting, coalition mobilization and campaign and issues management to a diverse client base. Raquel also supports clients through the development and implementation of communications strategies at federal, state and local levels. She previously served as Amplify’s Director of Public Relations.

Prior to joining Amplify, Raquel worked for a boutique public relations firm dealing largely with their international trade and food industry clients. During this time she helped secure regulatory and public policy victories. Her wide-ranging responsibilities included press outreach, event planning and media relations. Previously, Raquel worked as a marketing assistant for National City Bank where she maintained client relations and executed marketing initiatives.
