Case Study: Disruptive Women in Health Care Blog and Community

The Disruptive Women in Health Care Blog and Community was launched in September 2008 to bring together diverse women with one common mission - to disrupt the health care status quo.

The first effort of its kind, the blog creates a platform where women from diverse backgrounds, careers and expertise can assemble to share provocative ideas, thoughts and solutions to the health challenges this country faces.

Initially, the blog began with 24 Disruptive Women contributing and has grown to a large group of regular bloggers as well as a variety of guest posters. Additionally, the Disruptive Women in Health Care blog features one male contributor each month in its "Man of the Month" series.
