Bring Betty Broadband video

In the summer of 2009, Amplify Public Affairs helped launch Bring Betty Broadband, a project of So Others Might See, an interfaith coalition working on media justice issues. The campaign targets faith communities around the country and is designed to bring attention to the need for greater access, deployment and education related to broadband internet services for Americans in typically underserved communities. In addition to a web site and a short, humorous animated video, the campaign currently allows site visitors to enter a contest for a free iPod by writing a letter to Betty explaining Net Neutrality and the importance of Internet Openness.
