Raquel is a seasoned public relations professional, with experience developing and implementing communications strategies and media outreach initiatives. She also serves as client liaison to national Hispanic and consumer advocacy organizations.

EXPERIENCE: Prior to becoming Director of Public Relations for Amplify, Raquel worked as a senior consultant for Issue Dynamics where she oversaw a variety of public affairs strategies, including coalition building, campaign management and issue advocacy. Before that, Raquel was an account executive at The Fratelli Group, a boutique public relations firm. There she worked on diverse client issues ranging from international trade to immigration. Her responsibilities included event planning, media relations and collateral development. Before that, Raquel was a marketing assistant for National City Bank.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, Pennsylvania State University

FUN FACT: Raquel has five things she would like to experience within the next five years: hiking Machu Picchu, visiting the Egyptian Pyramids, zip lining through a rainforest in Panama, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef and going on an African safari.
