Pat Engel, Director, Third-Party Relations

Pat Engel has more than 30 years of experience working on rural, agricultural and education issues. Her diverse background working for and with nonprofits, universities, government agencies, political campaigns and public schools gives her a unique understanding of third party organizational needs and goals.

EXPERIENCE: Before becoming Director of Third Party Relations for Amplify, Pat was a senior consultant at IDI, where she first started as an independent government and public affairs consultant. Prior to that, Pat served in the United States Department of Agriculture, as the External Affairs Director of the Risk Management Agency.  Before relocation to the D.C. area, Pat served as the Assistant Director of Student Services at Monroe College.  As an officer of a Bronx-wide voting organization, Pat chaired the law committee, co-chaired two judicial screening panels, and served as campaign manager and political consultant in several local elections. She has raised funds for various groups, candidates, and causes.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York

FUN FACT: Pat and her husband, Congressman Eliot Engel (D., N.Y.) lived in Co-Op City, which was at that time the largest cooperative housing development in the world.
