Nia is trained graphic artist turned web and online advocacy expert. She lends her skill to the creation of websites, social network branding and client advertising.
EXPERIENCE: Before joining Amplify, Nia worked as a freelance designer and worked part time for seven years for a small communications and design firm in Boston. She concurrently worked as the Internet Assistant at the publishing company Cell Press, where she managed the generation and tracking of nearly a thousand online content licenses. She also helped Cell Press advance their capability to offer and manage online subscriptions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, Suffolk University/The New England School of Art & Design; Professional Certificate, Web Development, The Art Institute.
FUN FACT: Nia is a member of the Blackout Arts Collective (BAC), a grassroots coalition of artists, activists and educators working to empower communities of color through the arts.
