
John is a public policy research specialist, producing a range of reports on issues such as telecommunications, energy, and human rights policy. He also serves as the point man for Amplify’s blog monitoring service, conducting in-depth research on the impact that bloggers and the alternative media have on Amplify’s clients.
EXPERIENCE: Before becoming research director for Amplify, John was a Research Associate at Issue Dynamics. Through Amplify's management contract, Breyault serves as Research Associate for the Telecommunications Research and Action Center (TRAC), a nonprofit consumer education and advocacy organization. At TRAC, he produces comparison charts, newsletters, and consumer guides to assist communications consumers in finding the best plans and services to meet their needs, and is often consulted by the media on a range of consumer issues. Before joining IDI, he spent three years as a financial analyst with Sprint's International Carrier Services division. He conducted cost and quality analyses for the Europe, Africa, and Middle East regions of Sprint's long distance telephone network. Before that, John was the Assistant to the Executive Director at the American Center for Polish Culture (ACPC) where he coordinated various cultural events and exhibitions.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, George Mason University
