Kevin Reid, Vice President, Internet & Social Media

Kevin Reid heads up Amplify’s Internet group, which manages online campaigns from design and development to messaging, mobilization and analysis. A cutting-edge leader in Internet and Social Media, Kevin also oversees Amplify’s Blogger Relations programs including blog building, monitoring, advertising and training. Kevin also helps clients find ways to integrate virtual worlds like Second Life into their online campaign work.

EXPERIENCE: Before coming to Amplify, Kevin was director of Internet communications at the U.S. section of Amnesty International, leading the group's overall online communications operations and strategic direction. He helped integrate Amnesty's online and offline programs, developing successful online recruitment and retention strategies for college and high school students and Spanish-language activists. He also helped the organization develop a blogging strategy. His accomplishments were recognized by Amnesty International's global headquarters in London, where he was asked to work on a number of key Internet-based communications and recruitment projects.  Prior to Amnesty International, he managed online services at the National Governors Association.
