As Senior Vice President, Allen provides clients with wide-ranging strategic counsel and hands-on experience in 'getting their messages out'. He is an expert in issues management, thought leader advocacy and policy research. He has over 25 years of professional experience in corporate issue advocacy, public policy research, public sector management reform and Internet policy development.

EXPERIENCE: Allen has worked in the public and private sectors in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. He has written and managed projects on topics as diverse as telecommunications regulation, smarter energy policy reform, and the operation of next generation think tanks. Allen has been with the company for 8 years and is responsible for issue management and competitive business intelligence for Fortune 500 companies. Allen also serves as executive director of the New Millennium Research Council, a think tank charged with developing workable, real-world solutions to the issues and challenges confronting policymakers. He also served as manager of the U.S. Internet Industry Association. Prior to joining IDI, Allen worked in Australia as manager, community access and e-commerce for their National Office of the Information Economy. He also worked as a senior consultant to the Australian Department of Finance and the New Zealand State Services Commission. Early in his career, Allen worked as a policy officer for the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Justice.
